Bringing Up Grades at Broadmoor Elementary earned dozens of students prizes in Lafayette today.
KATC’s Seth Lewis was one of the guest speakers at the program also known as BUG.
More than 50 kids were recognized this go-round.
The program is put on by the Lafayette Kiwanis Club who provide entertainment prizes and gifts as a reward for the students’ efforts.
Every nine weeks students who maintain their status on the principal’s list or improve their scores are invited to get out of class early for the big event.
