The weather pattern will calm down for much of this week as an upper ridge of  high pressure will build across the region. Skies have remained generally fair overnight. Although, high, thin cloudiness has persisted. The moisture in the upper levels will remain in place today. So considerable cloudiness will hang around, but because the cloud layer will be thin, it should be a rather bright day.

Temperatures will hover in the mid 60s for highs with winds remaining out of the northeast at around 15 mph. It will feel warm in the sunshine, but shady areas, because of cloudiness may still feel chilly. Skies will clear out overnight as lows will dip into the mid 40s.

Looking ahead at the rest of the week, skies should remain mostly sunny! Temperatures Tuesday will hit the mid 60s once again with upper 60s on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies. By Thursday highs should be back in the low 70s. Clouds will finally make a return by Friday although no rain is expected until Saturday.  Look for a couple of showers over the weekend, with a better chance for rain on Monday of next week.
