Deputies arrest Jennings woman for vehicle theft

A Jennings woman was arrested on Tuesday after police say she allegedly stole a vehicle in Roanoke.

Deputies say the incident occurred after the victim stopped at a residence in Roanoke and left the vehicle running.

The victim told deputies that while she was inside the residence, 20-year-old Kamryn Randolph, who was a passenger in the vehicle, drove away without permission.

The vehicle was observed by deputies traveling on US 90 just west of Jennings. The vehicle was recovered and Randolph was placed under arrest.

She was booked into the Jeff Davis Parish Jail for Theft of a motor vehicle.
