Lake Charles man accused of crime against nature

LAKE CHARLES, La. – A 55-year-old Lake Charles man was arrested on Tuesday for having sex with an underage family member.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) detectives received a complaint regarding Allen J. Stevens, Sr. having sexual intercourse with a teen family member several days prior, according to Kayla Vincent, spokesperson for CPSO. The victim advised detectives the sexual abuse started when the child was nine-years-old.

Stevens was arrested and booked in the Calcasieu Parish Jail and charged with aggravated crime against nature.

Judge Michael Canaday set his bond at $400,000.

CPSO Detective Jacob Dore’ is the lead investigator on this case.
