Today’s Cool School is Ridge Elementary!
Ridge Elementary has student-led morning announcements that look very much like a REAL morning news program. Theirs is called KLTW. Kids Leading the Way. It’s part of the Leader in Me Program. Each morning the student news team arrives 45 minutes early to record the morning announcements. The KLTW crew includes four news anchors, a camera man, and a director. Once everything is recorded, Mrs. Caryn, the music teacher at Ridge, compiles the video segments into one show,and then the announcements are streamed throughout the school.
