Today’s Cool School is Daspit Elementary School in New Iberia!
Mrs Foco’s fifth grade students at Daspit Elementary have been working hard on their 13 colonies project. They had to research and create the state they were given. They had to find information such as when it was founded, who was original to the area, and other important facts. Once that was done they drew and cut out the state, wrote the facts, drew pictures, then stuffed it to make a two dimensional figure like a balloon. The students then made presentations.
