Today’s Cool School is Dozier Elementary!
Dozier Elementary walked away from the first Louisiana Elementary Junior Beta Convention with eight awards and the first ever Elementary Junior Beta President. The convention took place in January at the Cajundome. Fifth grade student Madeline Zegura was named State President. They took the top award in Quiz Bowl, and won awards in Campaign Skit, Book Battle, Technology, Living Literature, Recyclable Art, and Poetry and Portfolio. Co Sponsors for the Jr. Beta Club at Dozier Elementary are Shelanne Richard and Dara Broussard.
