A 21-year-old man was arrested following a police chase that ended in Lafayette Tuesday night.
The chase started in Iberville Parish and ended in a crash at Louisiana Avenue at E. Alexander Street. The vehicle had reportedly been stolen out of Iberville Parish.
A spokesperson with the Lafayette Police Department confirmed that one person, Deandre Lavar James, was arrested.
Last night Lafayette Police said that a woman, a passenger of the vehicle, had been taken into custody. Today, Lafayette Police clarified that she was not arrested.
