Abbeville Police are investigating a shooting that has left one person hospitalized.
Police are were called to the intersection of Schlessenger and Martin Luther King Friday, January 25, 2019, to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived on scene they discovered the male victim in the road with a single gunshot wound to his back. He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. According to police suspect hid in a tree line and shot at the unsuspecting victims with a high power rifle hitting one person, a vehicle, and the storefront.
Investigators were able to obtain security video from a local business.
