This winter Coca-Cola, Shop Rite and Trinity Graphx are teaming up to ensure that everyone in Acadiana can have a warm coat.

Together they have set-up coat racks outside 5 Shop Rite locations in Lafayette.

The program is called Need a Coat – Take One, Have a Coat – Leave One.

Jacob Held, an account manager with Coke, says, “the program basically works that if you need a coat you can come grab one, it’s free, no questions asked, come get it.”

A few coats have already been put out at each location but to make sure the racks stay full they are asking for the communities help to donate more coats.

“If you have a coat and you’re available to bring one and donate to this program we have extra hangers available here to help out,” Held says.

Here is the list of the 5 Shop Rites where the coat racks have been set-up.
