A woman in Tennessee made a pretty impressive catch on December 30 when she pulled in an 88-pound catfish.
The catch was made on Kentucky Lake, a reservoir along the Tennessee River, on Sunday, December 30. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency shared the photo of the “river monster” caught by Paula Cathey Smith.
Smith told the agency that the catfish was a “personal best” and made sure to document the moment.
Officials say that the fish was released safely back into the lake following the photo-op.
