A fire investigation is underway at Fezzo’s Oyster Bar and Steakhouse in Broussard.
The fire broke out in the kitchen area of the restaurant just after 11:00 pm Sunday night. Fire officials say the back of the building was received heavy fire damage, with the dining area receiving damage from waters. Lafayette Fire Department Arson Investigation Unit is investigating the cause of the fire.
The owner says he plans on reopening the restaurant by the end of the week.
