St. Landry Parish Crime Stoppers is asking for help from the public in solving a theft at a local business in Opelousas.
On October 21, 2018, at 8:00 pm, W.T.D. Trucking located at 1802 W. Landry Street captured video footage of an older model green two-toned, step side truck drive up to the business. The vehicle parked behind an 18 wheeler flat bed trailer that was parked in front of the business. Six minutes later, the video shows the truck leaving the parking lot with large unknown items in the bed of the truck. A spare truck tire, three chains, three binders, and four wooden boards were stolen totaling more than $1,000.
