What a difference it makes when the sun comes back out and the winds die down as it felt so much better this afternoon although temperatures were only 7-10° warmer.

Tonight once the sun goes down it will get cold again as lows will dip into the mid 30s meaning another light frost is likely so keep the sensitive vegetation covered and bring the pets inside.

Here is a look at Hour-by-Hour temperatures for the rest of tonight into Friday.

After the chilly start Friday morning temperatures will warm up quickly thanks to another bright sunny day and winds turning out of the SW as we will be near 60° by lunchtime and top out in the mid 60s during the afternoon.

For the weekend we should have some fantastic fall-like weather with lots of sunshine and pleasant temperatures with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s while lows will be in the low to mid 40s.

Thus, the weather looks perfect for the final Ragin Cajuns and LSU games on Saturday or for doing yard work to pick up all the leaves that are beginning to fall.

Monday a weak cool front will slowly slide through Acadiana bringing with it the chance for a few stray showers and slightly cooler temperatures as highs will dip down into the mid 60s.

Then models are predicting a low will develop in the western Gulf which will swing up towards Acadiana Tuesday producing scattered showers and maybe a few rumbles of thunder throughout the day.

We will then get a break late Tuesday into the first half of Wednesday before a second low travels along the Gulf coast producing another round of showers and storms Wednesday night into the first half of Thanksgiving.

As for temperatures next week they will hover in the mid 60s for highs and upper 40s to lower 50s for lows.
