Port Barre Cracklin Festival happening this week

 The 2018 Port Barre Cracklin Festival starts this week! The festival was developed in order to raise money for the Louisiana Lions Camp and Louisiana Eye Foundation. Good Morning Acadiana will be previewing the event LIVE from the festival grounds on Friday, November 9.

Admission is $5.00 per person, per day.  Children under 10 and active duty military with valid military ID are free.

No ice chests, glass containers or pets allowed.

No beverages (alcoholic or otherwise) are allowed onto or off of the festival grounds.

You will be required to dispose of any and all beverages before entering or leaving the Cracklin Festival.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 8, 2018

5:00pm – 10:00 Family Night – Free Admission – Buy a ride bracelet and ride the carnival rides for one price all night.

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 09, 2018

5:00pm – Festival Opens
6:00 – 7:30 – Lance Dubroc
8:00 – 9:30 – Clay Cormier & The Highway Boys
10:00 – Close – Richard Lebouef & Two-Step

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 10, 2018

10 am – Festival Opens and Parade begins down Saizan St.
11:00 – 1:30pm – Jamie Bergeron and the Kickn’ Cajuns
2:00 – 4:00 – JC Melancon & Bayou Rock Band
2:00 – 2018 Teen/Miss Cracklin Festival Pageant – Port Barre High School Gymnasium
4:00 – 5:00 – Presentation of Pageant winners
5:00 – 7:00 – Kevin Naquin & The Ossun Playboys
7:30 – 9:30 – Dustin Sonnier & The Wanted
10:00 – Close – Delta Badhand

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 11, 2018

10 am – Festival Opens
10:30 – 12:30pm – Johnny Sonnier & Cajun Heritage
1:00 – 3:00 – High Performance
3:00 – 4:00 – Cracklin Cookoff Results and Awards Presentation
4:00 – Close – Warren Storm and Willie T with Cypress Special Guests: Tommy McClain, TK Hulin, & Gregg Martinez
