The students at Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy got a head start on their trick-or-treating.
The school held its Trunks of Treats event where first responders and parents came with candy in the back of their vehicles.
“To see the smiles on the kids’ faces, like we said before, it brings a sense of pride for them, coming to our school, LRCA. They know they can come, they can have fun, and they can get a great education,” said LRCA Principal Talé Lockett.
