Louisiana is officially a member of the the “Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie,” or OIF.
Today the organization voted to welcome Louisiana in during its bi-annual summit being held in Armenia this year.
Membership will not only mean more funding for Lousiana’s French Immersion program, but also access to French-speaking economies.
