A grandmother in Polk County, Texas is showing off her hunting skills after she managed to nab a 12-foot long, 580-pound alligator at her family ranch.
According to KTRK, Judy Cochran, who recently was elected mayor of the town of Livingston, killed the gator with a shot to the head on Monday.
Cochran says that the gator could be responsible for the disappearance of a miniature horse three years ago from her ranch.
The gator is currently at the taxidermist and Cochran says she plans to mount the head and turn the body into a pair of boots.
A word of advice given by the now accomplished gator hunting grandma, “Don’t mess with Nana.”
