One seal had an extremely cute encounter with a butterfly while at the Oregon Zoo.
The adorable meet-and-greet was captured on video by the zoo’s dive safety officer, Micah Reese and shared to the zoo’s Just For Fauna Facebook page. The page regularly posts videos of the zoo’s resident animals just being themselves.
According to the zoo, Kaya, the seal captured in the video, is a three-year-old pacific harbor seal and has lived at the zoo since 2015.
The zoo says that the playful game of chase happened in the Stellar Cove area.
