Two elderly German men went MIA from their nursing home Friday to attend a heavy metal festival, the German news outlet Deutsche Welle reports.
The nursing home alerted police after the gentlemen were found to be missing from the center, and police found the two metal heads at a Wacken Open Air, a summer open-air heavy metal music festival that takes place annually in the village of Wacken, Germany.
When the cops caught up with the men at about 3 a.m., they were "disoriented and dazed," police told Deutsche Welle. Even so, they didn’t want to leave, DW reported.
