Gethsemane Church of God and Christ in Lafayette will host a Back to School Block Party Saturday, August 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
There will be free school supplies, food, games, water slide, fun jumps, haircuts, braids for girls (please come with hair washed), and nail polishing.
There will also be a basketball and volleyball tournament.
The church is located at 701 E. Pinhook Road, Lafayette.
