St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s deputies have arrested an Opelousas man, accusing him of raping an 11-year-old child multiple times over the past several months.
Lee R. Jackson, 50, was booked with first degree rape.
Jackson was a friend of the child’s family. The alleged rapes occurred over the past couple of months, a spokesman said.
As of this afternoon, he remained in the St. Landry Parish Jail with bond set at $100,000.
