A woman wanted by police for a home invasion in Delcambre has been arrested.

Torie Stelly was arrested today on a warrant from the Delcambre Police Department on charges of armed robbery, aggravated burglary, crimes against the elderly and false imprisonment.

On January 10, 2018,  an 84-year-old woman was tied up with duct tape after she answered her door and was held at gunpoint, according to police. Two suspects "ransacked" the house looking for money, according to the Delcambre Chief. Investigators said the robbery was not a random act, but that the home was targeted specifically by the two suspects.

Stelly was located at a residence in St. Martin Parish and arrested by the Marshal’s Office. She was transported to St. Martin Parish Jail and later transported to Lafayette Parish where a hold has been placed for the Delcambre Police Department, according to police.

She will later be booked by Delcambre and transported to Vermilion Parish Jail on a $150,000 bond.

The case remains under investigation.
