Kaplan donates units to Gueydan Police Department

The Kaplan Police Department is helping out its fellow officers in Gueydan.Kaplan officers will donate two of their older units after the transmission in one of the units in Gueydan broke down.     While the vehicles are in need of repairs, the chief believes their parts can be used to make one well-running car.   "The smaller departments in the community don’t have the money or the funds to be able to buy units," said Kaplan Police Chief Joshua Hardy. "So it’s nice to be able to share and work with each other."
