Stuff to do today: Movies in the Parc

Posted

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is tonight’s showing for Movies in the Parc.

Downtown Lafayette’s Kiwanis of Lafayette Movies in the Parc offers family-friendly, movie events featuring crowd favorites under the stars.

Gates open at Parc International tonight at 6:30 p.m. The movie starts at dusk. Tonight’s moving runs about 2 hours.

There are kids activities to keep the little ones busy before the movie.  Kids are not expected to sit still during the movie; the parc is gated and it’s safe for kids to roam, so parents can bring wagons, blankets and other comforts for the evening.

Admission is free for people 5 years old or younger, and $3 for everybody else.

Food and beverages will be available on-site for purchase. Parking is available at Parc-Auto du Centreville at Polk and Vermilion St. and metered parking spots are free on weekends.

The event is sponsored by Kiwanis of Lafayette, 99.9 KTDY and The Daily Advertiser.
