The Third Annual Backpack Project is underway today.
Every year, CASA collects donations of school supplies and cash to buy supplies for foster children in Acadiana.
Today, volunteers got together to decorate, fill and write notes of encouragement in 300 backpacks.
This afternoon, foster families go to Grace Presbyterian Church to pick up their backpacks.
