According to CNN, Zsa Zsa, the winner of the 30th annual World’s Ugliest Dog Contest has died just weeks after receiving her title. Zsa Zsa’s owner, Megan Brainard, confirmed her death on Thursday telling CNN’s sister network HLN that the 9-year-old English Bulldog died in her sleep.

Brainard says she is still in shock over the death and that she hasn’t yet processed the fame Zsa Zsa received after claiming the ugliest dog title in June.

The dog’s oversized tongue, pronounced underbite, and bowed stance helped her to claim the "top dog" spot at the Petaluma, California competition. That win included a large trophy, $1,500, and a trip to New York.

According to CNN, Zsa Zsa spent five years of her life in a puppy mill before being purchased by a nonprofit. She is survived by her owner and two "fur brothers" a pug and a Frenchie.
