A teenager was shot and killed last night in Lake Charles.
Police identified the victim as 19-year-old Carlos Ross, Jr.
Lake Charles police responded to the shooting in the 4400 block of 5th Avenue at 11:18 p.m.
Ross was taken to the hospital before officers arrived on the scene. Police say Ross died at the hospital.
His death is being investigated as a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
