Iberia Crime Stoppers is asking for any help in identifying the person responsible for a murder on Corrine Street in New Iberia.
Iberia Parish Crime Stoppers says that on June 27th a little after 9:00 pm, deputies heard gunshots in the area of Corrine Street. and Lombard Street in New Iberia.
After investigating the area, the body of Toussaint Johnson was located in the 600 block of Corrine Street. Johnson was shot multiple times for unknown reasons. Deputies immediately began life-saving efforts, but Johnson did not survive his injuries.
Iberia Crime Stoppers is asking for any help in identifying the person responsible for Johnson’s death.
