LEF opens application for technology grants

Lafayette Education Foundation has opened applications for a competitive grant program for classroom technology. 

LEF is administering the program, which is being funded by the Pugh Family Foundation.

The Technology Challenge Grants for Educators applications process is open to ALL public, private, parochial and charter school educators who have an innovative plan for utilizing technology in their classroom, library, lab, or even their entire school. Examples of technology for which educators can apply include: computers, laptops, 3D printers, tablets, hardware, software, subscriptions to educational resources, e-readers, etc. 

The Pugh Family Foundation and LEF will review applications after the Wednesday, July 18 deadline to determine finalists. These finalists will be charged with creating a presentation on how they plan to utilize the technology of their choice in an innovative way at their school(s). 
Presentations will take place on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, with the winners announced in August 2018.
