Early Childhood training holds graduation

Sixteen people graduated Saturday from a program aimed at improving early childhood education for local children.

The On Track by 5 Alliance teams up the Lafayette Parish School System and local child care providers in an effort to improve the quality of early learning for all children. 

The program offers professional development and resources to people who work in local child care centers. Upon graduation from the state-approved program, these professionals receive an ancillary certificate to recognize their completion of the comprehensive preparation program. 

Graduating today in the Infant & Toddler program were:

  • Hannah Sampy of Kids Only II of Lafayette 
  • Courtney Sonnier of Christina Learning Center
