St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office says that the inmate who escaped from the parish jail on Friday has been captured.
Sheriff Scott Anslum reports that the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office worked a number of leads before capturing 25-year-old Jeremy Perez of New Iberia.
Officials say Perez was located in Crowley and is awaiting transport back to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
