Two organizations have their sights set for breaking a record.
The Elder Outreach and Team Mergist will try to host the world’s longest bingo game.
The 24-hour event will happen on Wednesday at the Southwind Healthcare and Rehab in Crowley.
"This is a way to give back to the Alzheimer’s Association," said Christine Payton, Communication and Marketing Director, SLCC. "To bring awareness to the community, but also doing it in a fun way…bringing this Guinness world record attempt, kind of combining everything together in one event."
All proceeds will go towards the Alzheimer’s Association.
