Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown follows ‘Cajun Mardi Gras’

On Sunday evening, audiences watched Anthony Bourdain experience "Cajun Mardi Gras" as his show Parts Unknown took him to Acadiana.  

Laura’s II, a soul food restaurant in Lafayette where Bourdain dined during his trip in February, hosted a watch party.

During the Emmy-winning host’s documented visit, Bourdain visited Mamou for their Courir de Mardi Gras, Opelousas for Billy’s Boudin and Cracklins, Suire’s Grocery and Restaurant in Kaplan, and even the world’s only Popeye’s buffet in Lafayette

The celebrity chef passed away by suicide four months later on June 8.
