Officials with the Town of Arnaudville have announced that the town will be under a boil water advisory until further notice.
Officials say the boil advisory is necessary due to an issue with an electrical voltage box that has left the whole system without power. Crews are working to bring the system back online.
In the meantime, residents of the town are asked to boil their water before use as a precaution.
Testing of the system will take place and the advisory will be lifted once those tests confirm that the water is safe for consumption.
