Morrow, Morrow, Ryan, Bassett & Haik is pleased to announce the funding of 15 scholarships for 2018.
The recipients of these scholarships and their majors and universities are:

- Lauren Briscoe, Major: History, Northwestern University
- William Champagne, Major: Biology, LSU
- Dreu Fontenot, Major: Criminal Justice, ULL
- Megan Fontenot, Major: Registered Nurse, ULL
- Taylor Guillory, Major: Pre-Pharmacy, LSU
- Hannah Johnson, Major: Nursing, ULL
- Emily Kelly, Major: Secondary Education, ULL
- David Labbe, Major: Kinesiology, Pre-Dental, LSU
- Abigail Lahaye, Major: Petroleum Engineering, ULL
- Kristin Miller, Major: Nursing, LSUE
- Breanna Newell, Major: Radiology Technician, McNeese University
- Peyton Vidrine, Major: Biology, ULL
The MMRBH scholarships were awarded based on academic background, maturity of the applicant, financial need, community involvement and the availability of resources. Recipients are required to be permanent residents of St. Landry or Evangeline Parish.
Each student received an award of $2,500 for the upcoming school year.
