IHOP becomes the International House of Burgers

On Monday morning, IHOP, which recently flipped its "P" to a "b"  to become IHOb, officially announced what the b stands for. 

A banner on the restaurant chain’s Twitter page shows the word "Burgers!" with a photo of seven hamburgers underneath. The chain announced the change from IHOP to IHOb on June 4 with a tweet of the "p" in the iconic logo undergoing a flip to become a "b." The tweet left pancake lovers across the country trying to guess what the change could mean.

According to CNN, the change isn’t permanent. The chain says that the flip is only a marketing campaign to remind their customers that the International House of Pancakes is more than just a place to grab breakfast, but lunch and dinner as well. 

IHOP’s president Darren Rebelez told CNN that the chain will remain as IHOP but that they are taking their burgers as seriously as their pancakes
