Lafayette Police are looking for a vehicle that crashed into Tammy’s Grocery and then drove away.

The vehicle is described by Lafayette Police only as light-colored. It crashed into the store, a well-known neighborhood shop at the corner of Jefferson and Gordon in Freetown, and then just drove away, a spokesman said.

If anyone has any information about who may have hit the store, please call Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS or the Lafayette Police Department’s Hit and Run Unit at 291-8600.

Surveillance video from the store shows a four-door Buick sedan with dark tinted windows that appears to be champagne in color. Here’s some surveillance; at one point you can see a patron narrowly escaping injury in the incident.
