The Lafayette Bar Association has put together an event to help Lafayette first responders.
Volunteer attorneys, working with the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Wills for Heroes Foundation, will draft wills for first responders in Lafayette parish for free.
The event will be held on June 16 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Lafayette Par Association on Johnston Street.
This event is a free service to our first responders as a means to give back to those who protect us and our community, a spokeswoman said.
First responders and their spouses will be able to meet with an attorney who will draft a completely valid will and testament free of charge.
First responders who are interested in this program should sign up here.
