Church Point Police arrested a member of the Church Point Housing Authority board on Monday.
Troy Guidry is accused of making calls to the police to make false complaints about his neighbors.
Guidry is a resident of the housing authority project, but also a member of the authority board, police say.
He allegedly made 16 calls over the past couple of months, police said. Upon investigation, they were all found to be false and unfounded complaints, police said.
Guidry was booked on a charge of disturbing the peace, and is awaiting bond.
