BRPD looking for LSU Police officer accused of beating woman

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are working to locate an LSU Police officer wanted for battery and false imprisonment.

Samuel Ellis III, 25, is accused of punching a woman in the face and holding her captive for several hours. He is believed to be in a black Dodge Charger and should be considered armed and dangerous. The woman was badly injured, police say.
