Blue for You event teaches students to make good choices

School officials and law enforcement officers are advising students to make good choices while in high school.
     
The second annual Blue for You event was held in Opelousas today.
     
Eighth graders were able to talk with officials about topics like bullying and suicide prevention.

"What they’re going to be doing for us 15 years from now," said Jerome Robinson, Supervisor fo Chifl Welfare and Attendance, St, Landry Parish Schools. "I’ll be retired and I want to make sure I’m ensuring that when I’m retired these individuals will go out and continue to lead our community forward and making good decisions."
