Thursday night, residents at Pelican Pointe Nursing Home in Maurice enjoyed an evening of glamor and dancing in the form of a "Senior" prom.
Employees of the home worked together to deck out the facility in glitter, balloons, and flowers fit for any high school prom. There was even a place to take photographs of the night, complete with candelabra and fairy lights.
Residents and their families were treated to a meal and a few may have strutted their stuff on the dance floor to a live band.
Of course, what is a "Senior" prom without a king and queen? Residents Floyd Middleton and Rita Doughtry were crowned king and queen of Senior Prom along with some younger attendees from local high schools.
