Lafayette fire investigators determined the fire which heavily damaged Greenwood Shoes on Jefferson Street was intentionally set. The fire originated in the stock room of the business. The owner, David Leblanc (56), was arrested and charged with Arson with Intent to Defraud. Investigators believe insurance fraud was the motive. He was booked into Lafayette Parish Correctional Center this morning.
