TODAY’S COOL SCHOOL IS LAFAYETTE MIDDLE SCHOOL! J.A.G. stands for Jobs for America’s Graduates. It’s a national program that provides skills that build confidence in young people and the ability to succeed during their educational journey. There are 120 JAG Programs in the State of Louisiana and Lafayette Parish has 6 of these programs.
Lafayette Middle School -JAG partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank. The students sorted and repacked 7,290 pounds of sweet potatoes, which provided over 6,000 meals for people right here in Acadiana. They were proud to be a part of the Second Harvest mission of a hunger-free south Louisiana.
