The Saintsations tweeted out a picture of this year’s finalists, including a male participant in the center of the photo. Jesse, an Acadiana native from Maurice, appears to have made it through the first round and will move forward in the auditions to become a New Orleans Saintsation.

Recently the Los Angles Rams announced they have added two male cheerleaders to their squad this year, who will perform dance routines right alongside their female teammates.
The Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts have men who perform stunts with female cheerleaders, but don’t dance.
The New Orleans Saints website also features two female locals as finalists, Rain from Lafayette and Chancie who’s listed as being from Cecilia.
