Former President George H. W. Bush is in the hospital after contracting an infection which has spread to his blood.
According to officials, President Bush was admitted to the Houston Methodist Hospital Sunday morning after contracting an infection that spread to his blood.
A statement from the former president’s office says that Bush is responding to treatments and appears to be recovering.
His wife former First Lady Barbara Bush was laid to rest on Saturday. She died Tuesday, April 17, 2018. She was 92 years old
