There are some new champions of the fishing tournament by the Louisiana National Guard Enlisted Association in Erath.
First place was awarded to the fisherman with the biggest redfish, speck and flounder.
The junior enlisted director tells us there’s one mission that makes putting together the event each year all worthwhile.
"We’re trying to raise funds for our Louisiana National Guard soldiers and airmen on the enlisted side. The organization is an organization that is a platform for the voice of our enlisted soldiers and airmen throughout the state," said Rebecca Bourke with the Louisiana National Guard Enlisted Association.
