The first Acadiana Life Fest is taking over Parc International as families gather in the celebration of life.
The pro-life festival is put on by the Acadiana chapter of Louisiana Right to Life.
Children and adults began the morning with a 5K run/walk.
Once crossing the finish line, festival-goers get to eat, listen to music and visit the different booths where you may run into a live snake!
The festival is free to the public and is going on until 2 p.m. in downtown Lafayette.
