St. Martin Parish Crime Stoppers is asking for help from the public solving a string of burglaries.

On April 6, 2018, between 2:00 A.M. and 5:00 A.M, four separate burglaries occurred in the St. Martinville area.

The first three burglaries happened in the 1000 block of Kaiser Mouton Road.

In the first burglary a 2007 Gold GMC Yukon, a utility trailer, and a Honda 50 dirt bike were stolen.

A red Troy Built zero turn lawn mower was stolen from a shed in the second one.

In the third burglary, a Dewalt Compound Miter saw was stolen from a shed.

A fourth burglary occurred a short distance away in the 1000 block of Ruth Drive. At that location, a 16 ft. Big Tex utility trailer with a 52" Snapper Pro zero turn mower, a Stihl backpack blower, a Stihl handheld blower, a Sthil trimmer, and a Troy Built push mower were stolen.

The GMC Yukon and the utility trailer have since been recovered, however, the other items have not yet been located, according to investigators.  Police say each of the burglaries are related and the same suspects are responsible.

If you have any information on any of these burglaries, location of these stolen items, or information on the suspects responsible, contact St. Martin Crime Stoppers at (337) 441-3030, visit their website at www.stmartincrimestoppers.com, or you may download their new free P3 App through your smartphone.
